Hawk Aerial Productions CAA Licence

In order to fly drones for commercial purposes in UK airspace, an Operational Authorisation issued by the CAA must be obtained by drone operators in conjunction with the General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC). The A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC) is also required to work within the new drone weight class regulations introduced in 2021.

Both certificates (can be viewed below by clicking on the button) are issued by the CAA to highlight the operations that can be undertaken legally with relation to the Operations Manual. This is the manual that the pilot adheres to for operational procedure, which is carefully read and approved by the CAA.
